Our Vision

A generation free of HIV/AIDS in the Sacramento region.

Our Mission

We carry out our vision by:
  • Supporting a compassionate community for people living with HIV/AIDS.
  • Encouraging innovative prevention, education and outreach programs.
  • Raising awareness to eliminate discrimination and stigma.
  • Ensuring access to quality care.
  • Promoting informed public policy to sustain a healthy community.

Our Priorities

In order to help determine how grant money is allocated, we have established a set of strategic funding priorities:

1. HIV Prevention such as:
  • Needle exchange and disposal 
  • Condom distribution 
  • PrEP 
2. Filling gaps in supportive services to keep people living with HIV/AIDS in care such as:
  • Substance Abuse Treatment 
  • Transportation 
  • Patient Navigation 
  • Case Management 
  • Housing Assistance 
3. HIV Testing with linkage to care

4. Education and training about HIV

5. Innovative projects that address the impact of HIV in the Sacramento region
