Our Vision

A generation free of HIV/AIDS in the Sacramento region.

Our Mission

We carry out our vision by:
  • Supporting a compassionate community for people living with HIV/AIDS.
  • Encouraging innovative prevention, education and outreach programs.
  • Raising awareness to eliminate discrimination and stigma.
  • Ensuring access to quality care.
  • Promoting informed public policy to sustain a healthy community.

Our Priorities

In order to help determine how grant money is allocated, we have established a set of strategic funding priorities:
  1. HIV prevention including, but not limited to Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), needle exchange and disposal and condom distribution.
  2. Closing gaps in the care and treatment of people living with HIV/AIDS, including, but not limited to:
    1.  Residential substance abuse treatment and mental health services 
    2. Transportation 
    3. Patient navigation 
    4. Case management 
  3. Providing universal and routine HIV testing with linkage to and retention in care.
  4. Education, outreach and training about HIV.
